Trying to remember a time where I laughed so much in a day, and I’m not sure I can. The wonderful Canada Lodge and Lake always providing a stunning setting for a wedding. With its tree lined lake and cabin style lodges and ceremony room, you’d be fooled for thinking this tranquil location was actually in Canada! Scott – you chose an absolutely gem of a wife…I can only wish you guys the very best for the future…you seem to have the rest figured out <3 Can’t wait to catch up soon!

What was your favourite part of the day?

It had to be the ceremony, it was short and to the point but a beautiful part of the day. We can still remember setting eyes on each other for the first time that day! Before hand we were worried about the music and what we had to say but on the day it just happens and you don’t give it a second thought, it all went really well and was so magical for us!

Any stand out moments for you? Who or what made your day extra special?

You’ll think we’re just saying this but it was you, Ryan. You made us relax, laugh and cry (in a good way) all day. It helped us enjoy what was around us and we haven’t stopped talking about those moments since! It was also amazing to have everyone we treasure around us and be a part of the day.

Where did you go / are you planning to go on your honeymoon? How long for? Who planned it? Would you recommend it?

The weekend after we went to a place called ‘Cabin on the Lake’ in Mid Wales – it was a real treat for us and a ‘back to basics’ total escape from day to day life. All we had was a cabin, a lake, a canoe and a wood fired hot tub! No kids, WiFi or even electricity… just us and nature for 3 whole days. We might have to make it a yearly get-away.
