You’re not going to believe how gorgeous this wedding is! Lauren & Stephen planned the most beautiful of wedding days, celebrating with their nearest and dearest, along with their adorable little boy Charlie! As always the stunning Clearwell Castle and surrounding grounds looked glorious. As one of our favourite venue’s it’s always a pleasure to revisit this Gothic castle nestled in the Forest of Dean. Along with some emotional speeches, great food and even the early Spring South Wales weather behaving itself, this wedding is certainly one we won’t be forgetting any time soon!

How did the proposal happen?

Stephen proposed in Mexico after we had just swam with dolphins!

What’s your favourite memory together before the wedding day?

Having our son Charlie.

Did you have a theme? If so, why did you choose this theme?

We didn’t have a specific theme, we just wanted it to look elegant.

What is your favourite memory of the day?

There were smiles on our faces the whole day, it really was one of the happiest days of our lives.

Why did you choose the venue that you chose?

We fell in love with Clearwell Castle as soon as we saw it – it’s such a beautiful venue and we just knew it was the one for us.

Any advice to future brides/grooms?

Make sure to enjoy every second as it goes so quickly!
