Clearwell Castle

Phil & Lisa’s wedding at the beautiful Clearwell Castle has to be one of our favourite winter wedding’s we’ve ever documented. They opted for a combined Photography and Videography package which ensured we were there the entire day and were able to capture every moment.

As we drew closer to the castle on the morning of the wedding and drove further and further through the country lanes, the frost became thicker and thicker. By the time we arrived at Clearwell Castle everything was white – simply beautiful! The water in the fountain had turned to ice too, displaying the most perfect, accidental sculpture.

Clearwell Castle truly is one of the best venues if you’re planning a winter wedding.

Having unpacked the car, we headed into the castle – stopping for just a moment to warm our hands on the open fires – and once defrosted we went to meet our beautiful bride, Lisa!

The bridal details from this wedding are simply some of our favourites. They look so stunning when photographed against the stunning bridal suite at Clearwell – don’t you agree? <3

When the guys arrived, Miles and the video team headed outside to greet them and capture some images – I just love the tribute to Lisa’s heritage with the tartan scarves (and kilts!)
