Canada Lodge

On one of the hottest days of the year, I had the pleasure of working with Shanan and Kristian at the beautiful Canada Lodge and Lake just outside of Cardiff. When I arrived at one of the venue’s lake-side lodges where the bride and her girls were getting ready, I knew I was onto a winner as Shanan was super relaxed and simply full of excitement for the day ahead.

Shanan & Kristian had the aim of soaking up every moment of the day, not stressing over the little things, and just ‘roll with it’. As it turned out there was nothing to stress over any way as everything ran without a hitch. Some brilliant speeches by Kristian’s best men and tons of laughter shared between friends and family set up a fun-filled day, complimented by the sunshine and special surroundings.

My job is always an absolute joy when I get to work with such a chilled couple, and when you throw in beautiful weather and a stunning location, I feel very lucky to do what I do!
